Siroco Kitesurf is a kitesurf and wingfoil school in Gran Canaria specialising in lessons with a support boat, radio communication systems and our own teaching method, built around safety, quality of instruction and real progress for the student.
We were the first in Spain to teach with a support boat and radio control systems. Every year we host instructors from all over Spain who come to train at our school and learn how we work.
Our team is made up of qualified, experienced instructors, with up-to-date equipment and our own boats.
In sports like kitesurfing and wingfoiling, safety, communication and real practice time make all the difference. That is why we use a support boat for lessons on the water: it lets you practise in open water, cuts the time lost walking along the beach and makes the experience safer, more effective and more personal.
We set off from the boat, sail in open water and return to the starting point without walking along the shore. More real minutes on the water in every lesson.
Your instructor corrects, guides and accompanies you by radio while you sail, at the exact moment you need it, without waiting until you are back on the beach.
Theory videos filmed by us, so you arrive at your lesson with the concepts already covered and make the most of the water from the first minute.
National kitesurf and wingfoil judge. Kiteboarding coach certified by the Spanish Sailing Federation. IKO Level 3 instructor. National level 2 sailing coach (free rig). Degree in Sport and Exercise Science, sailing speciality. Degree in Management, International Trade and Marketing. Port Skipper and Recreational Craft Skipper.
Kitesurfing since 2002, competing at the highest national and international level. His best results include 5th in Best Trick at the 2007 PKRA World Championship in Tarifa, plus podium finishes at Spanish and Canary Islands championships.
